Oh deer, another day another buck

All those posts about poor wet cold weather could be over, while it may be cold here, it is sunny and beautiful. The rain is slowly being forgotten.

This morning in the trek from the Tower to the Erection, this four footed hoofter was waiting to welcome both the morning sunrise and me!

Looking back at the Tower the Sun was on the way up and up, look way up! There, it's a friendly place...

Err...

I have NO DESIRE to be a "wet blanket", nonetheless I feel I should point out that it is not a good idea to become overly friendly with the local deer population. For their sake...

Deer become tame very easily, which might be fine for us fey foke, but those guys in the red plaid jackets who arrive around "hunting season" typically have a whole other motive; which the deer can't tell...

Just a thought...

Great news & pix about our new "fridge"... What will become of the old one? [I have way too easy a time picturing it next to my tent, along with the rusted Caddilac w/ the poplar tree growing through where the engine used to be]

Just kidding,

Well, considering that the deer eat everything in sight, I think shooting a few of them would be okay with me....plus all those silly rabbits!
